Actor Tim Robbins, 62, files for divorce after secret wedding from his ‘much younger wife’ Gratiela Brancusi
Tim Robbins has separated from Gratiela Brancusi, his much younger wife.
The American actor and producer, 62, filed for divorce at a courthouse in Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 28, but it’s unclear when, according to TMZ, he married the Romanian-born beauty.
It is believed that Tim is about 33 years older than Gratiela, who graduated from Bucharest University in 2012.
When the Shawshank Redemption star took Brancusi to the premiere of his HBO film, the pair were first romantically connected in February 2018.
In November 2019, while posing alongside the Castle Rock actor at the Dark Waters premiere, the brunette beauty was pictured wearing a diamond sparkler on her ring finger.
Previously, Robbins was in a relationship with Susan Sarandon. The two met Bill Durham on the set of the 1988 film and had two children together, sons Miles, 28, and John “Jack” Henry, 31, after 23 years together, before going their separate ways in December 2009.
