According to ACL Sports, Nigerian national team captain Ahmed Musa is expected to return to Kano Pillars of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Since he has yet to land an international team, the 28-year-old is expected to join Pillars on a flexible short-term contract.
It is known that the transition is nearly complete, with just a few minor details to be worked out.
Since leaving Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia in October, Musa has been without a club.
A return to Pillars, on the other hand, could revitalize his career.
Musa spent three years with Kano before making his first European appearance with VVV-Venlo.
