For the very first time, Amad Diallo was pictured in the Manchester United kit, having joined the Red Devils earlier this month.
During the summer, United reached an agreement with Atalanta about a move, although it was subject to medical, job authorization and personal terms.
Earlier this month, the move was completed, with Diallo expected to wear No. 19 for his new club.
And for the first time, the winger, who could cost his new club up to £ 37m in total, has been pictured in United gear.
For the typical arrival pic, the 18-year-old posed, holding up his Manchester United shirt.
He is also seen wearing the shirt while wearing the cameras’ bright orange training kit from United.
Diallo said following the conclusion of his transfer: “It is finally a dream come true to complete my move to Manchester United after waiting since the summer.”
I am highly optimistic and there is so much I want to do in the game; I knew I had joined the right club when I talked to the manager.
With so many fantastic players, this is a very exciting team. I can guarantee I will work hard every day to learn from them and give everything I can to improve my game.
Since I signed, the coaches have been awesome, we have been in constant contact and they have given me a lot of great advice already.
“I had time, both physically and mentally, to prepare for this move, and I have worked extremely hard to be ready to make the step up to this amazing club.”
Diallo is expected to unveil in the first team of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, despite making just two appearances this season for Atalanta.
“As a club, we have been following Amad for a number of years, and having watched him myself, I think he’s one of the most exciting young prospects in the game,” the United boss said.
Manchester United has such a proud history of young players’ growth and everything is in place to allow Amad to achieve his potential here.
It will take time for him to adjust, but to make the move, his pace, vision and fantastic dribbling abilities will stand him in good stead.
“He is a player with all of the raw attributes needed in the years to come to be an important player for Manchester United.”
