Lindsey Boylan, who served from 2015 to 2018 as Deputy Secretary for Economic Development and Special Advisor to the Governor, said Cuomo “sexually harassed me for years” while narrating how at her former workplace her mom was sexually harassed.
The 36-year-old alleged, in a series of tweets, that Mr. Cuomo “harassed me for years.” Seen by many and still watched.
The accusations were refuted by Caitlin Girouard, a spokeswoman for the governor.
“These claims simply have no truth,” she said.
A state official said that although she was a state employee, Ms. Boylan didn’t file any formal charges against the governor.
The allegation comes when Mr. Cuomo is being considered by President-elect Joe Biden for appointment as U.S. attorney general.
