Boko Haram acknowledges responsibility for the abduction of school boys from Katsina

Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the kidnapping last Friday, December 11, of over 300 students from the Government Science Secondary School in Kankara, Katsina State.

HumAngle reports that the leader of the deadly terror group, Abubakar Shekau, said that in a 4-minute, 28-second audio released on Monday night December 14, contrary to claims made in some quarters, no demands have yet been made.

What happened in Katsina was done to promote Islam and discourage un-Islamic practices, since the type of education allowed by Allah and his Holy Prophet is not Western education.

They also do not teach what was ordered by Allah and his Holy Prophet. They are destroying Islam instead. It may be subtle, but Allah, the Lord of the heavens and the earth, knows all that is concealed. May Allah encourage Islam. May we die like Muslims.

We are behind what happened in Katsina in a nutshell,’ HumAngle quotes him as saying,

A top sect commander also rejected claims that he had made any demands.

According to the Commander;

“The only time we talked with the parents was to warn them to tell the military not to make any attempts to rescue the boys forcefully,”
