The convicted killer is then accused of dumping the body of Aaliyah in a storm drain.
The Albuquerque Journal reported that Morfin allegedly killed Aaliyah at his family’s house. The morning after the sleepover, his mother checked him in to find Jeremiah cleaning his room and doing laundry, with Aaliyah absent.
The unidentified woman got into her car immediately and went searching for her niece. “kind of lost it”I did a bad thing.” he said.
They called the police, with one officer asking Jeremiah where Aaliyah was. He led them toward a gully where the body of Aaliyah had been found.
Detectives who found the body of the youngster said that she had sustained visible head and chest injuries.
Morfin is facing a first-degree murder charge, and is being held in prison ahead of his trial.
