Buhari has been exposed by the abduction of 600 Katsina students – PDP says

President Muhammadu Buhari has been rebuked by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) over the abduction of no less than 600 students from the Katsina State Local Government Area Government Science Secondary School in Kankara.

The abduction revealed that Buhari was unable to defend Nigerians, the PDP said.

In Kankara, some unknown gunmen invaded the GSS and abducted about 600 students.

PDP spokesman Kola Ologbondiyan, however, said the abduction revealed the incompetence of Buhari as Commander-In-Chief.

Ologbondiyan noted that the demand for his resignation was responsible for Buhari’s failure to safeguard Nigeria.

A statement by Ologbondiyan reads partially:

“Our party holds as perplexing that at a time the people of Katsina should have heaved a sigh of relief because of his presence, the abduction occurred right under Mr. President’s nose; in his home state, where he had gone holidaying.”

“Furthermore this development has exposed President Buhari’s failure to manage high-level security intelligence that should accompany a presidential visit.”

The PDP’s spokesman wondered why when Buhari was in Daura, his hometown, the abduction occurred.

The time of the attack is backed by the fact that President Buhari, as commander-in-chief, is totally incapable of protecting our nation; the very reason why patriotic Nigerians have made widespread calls to resign; he added.
