President Muhammadu Buhari’s ardent supporter in Katsina threw a ram party to welcome him back after two weeks in the United Kingdom.
On Friday, April 16, Abubakar Rabiu, also known as Abu Albarka, hosted a party at a popular restaurant near the Federal University Dustin-Ma takeoff site.
According to the Daily Trust, Rabiu, who is known for his unwavering support for Buhari, has made it a tradition to slaughter rams and throw parties whenever the president returns home from a trip abroad, especially on a medical mission. His most recent gathering is said to be his eighth.
Other Buhari supporters graced the event, breaking fast together and praying for Nigeria’s unity and development, as well as Buhari’s wellbeing.
“About 40 people attended the feast to break their fast this time.” This is the smallest group we’ve ever had, possibly due to the Ramadan fast; the last time we had around 300 people,” Rabiu said.
Rabiu also said that President Buhari is the best thing that has ever happened to Nigeria, especially in this period of economic hardship and insecurity.
He urged Nigerians to pray fervently for stability, unity, and prosperity for Nigeria and its leaders.
