Burglars, after accidentally breaking into the wrong home in Canada, apologized and offer to pay for damages


When they found out that they unintentionally broke into the wrong home, a pair of burglars were apologetic and even promised to pay for damages.

“The two men realized that after apologizing and offering to pay for the damage, they had broken into the wrong address and left the house without further incident,” said a spokesperson from Sarina Police Service.

A tip was later obtained by the police and the suspects were arrested.

Deanis John Smith, 27, of Keswick, and Cameron Joseph Kemmis, 27, of Sarnia, are charged with breaking and entering, $5,000 in mischief, and dangerous weapons possession.
