According to DailyStar, In pictures where guests do not wear one onboard their rides, Disney World will stop editing fake face masks.

The Florida theme park was called out earlier this month for adding an overweight mask covering a visitor in an action shot bought by a fellow passenger.

At Disney’s attractions, face masks are mandatory and images were initially refused to clients snapped not wearing one according to sources.

But to cover the rule-break, a shot of six people at the DINOSAUR attraction in Animal Kingdom, including one without a mask, was edited.

On Tuesday, Disney told WDW Today: “We tested editing some ride photos in response to guest requests.”

“We are no longer doing it and continue to expect guests to wear face coverings except for when actively eating or drinking while stationary.”

Disney has confirmed on its website that ‘face coverage is needed for all guests (ages 2 and up) and cast members’ after reopening in July after Covid-forced closures across the US.

“You may remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking, but you should be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing.”

Tony Townsend, a fan of Theme Park, posted his ride snap-on Disney World Junkies’ Facebook page.

On Sunday, he wrote: “Got all of yesterday’s photo pass photos except Dinosaur.”

Just finally got it and you can see that Disney has already begun to add masks digitally so that everybody can still get their videos.

“The woman behind us apparently wasn’t wearing hers.”

Guests who were in ride images where others were not in masks had told the parks that they would not see or receive the picture, The Orlando Sentinel reports.

The vehicle that actually follows the rules is not penalized for other people’s acts.

One, however, wrote: “They should just kick the person out for breaking the rules.”

Before the update, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at the Magic Kingdom was also said to be digitally modifying masks into images, reports WDW News Today.
