First lady Melania Trump has reportedly declined to propose a meeting with Jill Biden because her husband, President Donald Trump, has not yet acknowledged the election victory of Joe Biden, saying there has been no proof of voter fraud.
After his boyhood state of Pennsylvania took him over the 270 electoral votes needed to win, Democrat Joe Biden was elected as the 46th President of the United States of America.
The wife of Mr. Biden, Dr. Biden, is already setting her agenda for her position as the next First Lady of America, which will include education, veterans and cancer. But Melania Trump, according to the Daily Mail, is refusing to give her a meeting.
“According to the paper, Dr. Biden’s spokesman, Michael LaRosa,” Dr. Biden is extremely thankful to the nation for electing her husband and Senator Harris.
Dr. Biden said that with her work as a teacher, she would like to balance her duties as the first lady, making her an unusual presidential spouse to have an outside job.
Dr. Biden is the mother of Beau Biden, a late service member, and she has said that military veterans and families are one of her key concerns.
The Joining Forces initiative was created by her and Michelle Obama, but it is uncertain whether she would re-ignite the project or create a new one.
Three areas for military families were the focus of the Joining Forces Initiative-jobs, education, and well-being.
