The former Minister of Education, lambasted President Buhari, over the abduction of 333 schoolboys in Kankara, Katsina State.
Recall that Boko Haram members stormed the Government Science School in Kankara on Friday, December 11, and abducted over 300 students. President Buhari visited his cows on Saturday morning, December 12th.
He has been criticized by many Nigerians for preferring to visit his cattle ranch instead of visiting the abducted students’ distraught parents.
Ezekwesili requested President Buhari to stop being ‘inhuman, coldly insensitive and rescue abducted students’ in a series of tweets posted today, December 15. She asked the President to leave his cows in Daura and give priority to the lives of school kids who have been separated from their loved ones for about four days now.”
Ezekwesili remembered the kidnapping of girls from Chibok in 2014 and urged Buhari to seek U.S. military assistance.
