Former Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi’s nephew has been kidnapped

Muhammadu Sanusi’s nephew, Aminu Musa Abdullahi, the former Emir of Kano, was reportedly abducted by suspected kidnappers.

The Daily Trust reported that last week, while transiting to Kano along the Abuja-Kaduna highway, Abdullahi, popularly known as Yaya Baba, was abducted. A source told the publication that the abductors contacted the family for ransom, but the amount was not disclosed.

Said the source;

The family received the amount requested and when the person assigned to deliver the money to the kidnappers set out to meet them, he completely lost contact with them. They have not spoken to the family till this moment.
