After he mistakenly lost his ID card while escaping, a thief who stole two necklaces from a gold shop in Bangkok , Thailand, was arrested.
On Thursday, November 5, the suspect, Pathompong Sukane, 34, was arrested two hours later at his home in Soi Phattanakan 38, Suan Luang district.
A food delivery worker, Pathmong, was charged with stealing the necklaces from the Pornsuphan gold shop in the Tesco Lotus store’s Phattanakan branch.
The suspect walked into the gold store, according to the workers, and demanded to see the necklaces. He was shown two gold necklaces weighing 2 baht by one staffer.
He asked for the price, but he took both necklaces and ran from the shop as the employee measured the price. On a motorcycle parked outside, he escaped, evading the security guards who were trying to stop him.
Khlong Tan Police told the store. On the field, they found an ID card and soon tracked the individual named on it to his home.
Mr Pathompong, the two necklaces and the motorcycle he used to make his escape, were discovered.
He told the police that he had food for a living, but he didn’t make enough money to make ends meet, so he wanted to rob the gold store.
