In his 45 minutes on the pitch against Ludogorets, Harry Kane scored one and set up another, hitting 200 Tottenham goals in the process.
In a comfortable 3-1 Europa League win over the Ludogorets at the Huvepharma Arena on Thursday, Harry Kane scored his 200th Tottenham goal.
Kane became the third Spurs player to score a double century of goals, captaining the team on his 300th appearance in all competitions, when he headed in Lucas Moura’s corner in the 13th minute.
With Jose Mourinho’s decision to make seven changes from the side that lost 1-0 to Royal Antwerp in their previous Group J outing paying dividends, the England international and Lucas then changed roles for the latter to double the scoring after the half-hour mark.

At half-time, Kane was removed and Claudiu Keseru pulled one back for Ludogerts, but 12 minutes later, Giovanni Lo Celso restored the visitors’ two-goal lead and they cruised to three points.
It seemed that Kane’s wait for his landmark strike in Bulgaria would not end when he lofted a glorious opening one-on-one over and rattled the post with a strong drive within six minutes of the opening.
However, the third time proved the charm, as his next effort was a good header from Lucas’ corner that Plamen Iliev was unable to hold out.
Until Gareth Bale slid a pass into Kane, Iliev denied Matt Doherty, who returned the favour to Lucas with a perfectly weighted square ball that the Brazilian tapped home.
Mourinho replaced Kane with Carlos Vinicius for the second half, apparently sensing the job was done, and Keseru halved the deficit with a volley in the 50th minute after Bernard Tekpetey ‘s shot looped up off Harry Winks.
In the 61st minute, Son Heung-min substituted Lucas and teased Lo Celso 15 seconds later to ensure that Spurs’ Europa League campaign was put back on track.
What does that imply? Alli Still on the fringes
At half-time in the loss to Antwerp, Mourinho hooked Dele Alli and the defensive midfielder was left out of the squad to face Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend.
Despite having five subs available to him, even after the outcome was secured, the Tottenham boss decided not to allow Alli any game time.
King Kane of Spurs
Kane climbed into double figures for goals by setting up Lucas’ goal in the first half and assisting in all competitions in only his 13th appearance in all competitions this season. It will not take long for him to hit the all-time leading goalscoring mark of 266 set by Jimmy Greaves in this form for Spurs.

A back-up capable of that?
For his third Spurs debut, Carlos Vinicius was sent on, all of which came in the Europa League. In the 53rd minute, he missed a brilliant chance from 10 yards and failed to get involved in the match. Kane (19) was the only Spurs player with less than 20 touches, although the skipper definitely counted for more, while the team’s six effective passes were the least.
