Melania Trump Condemns The Violence Which Took Place At Capitol Hill

The U.S. First Lady Melania Trump denounced last week’s violent invasion of Capitol Hill by her husband’s supporters, President Donald Trump, on Monday.

She said she was “disappointed and disheartened” by the incident that drew global outrage in a statement released by the White House.

The president’s wife, calling for national reconciliation, urged Americans to “take a moment, pause, and look at things from all perspectives.”

Make no mistake, I absolutely condemn the violence that has taken place in the Capitol of our Country. Violence can never be acknowledged,”

I urge individuals to avoid violence, never make judgments based on the color of the skin of a person, or use different political ideologies as a justification for violence and viciousness,” she said.”

Melania denied “false and misleading accusations” from some anonymous individuals against her, who she said were trying to be significant.

It’s just about healing our country and its people at this time. It ought not to be used for personal gain,’ she said.

She thanked millions of Americans who over the past four years have embraced the Trump administration, adding that serving the nation as First Lady was the privilege of her lifetime.

When armed Trump supporters stormed the house, prompting a shutdown, Vice President Mike Pence was presiding over a joint session of Congress to certify the Nov. 3 presidential elections.

The incident in which the president is facing another threat of impeachment from the House of Representatives for allegedly inciting him has killed five people.

The outgoing First Lady said that she was devastated by the deaths, expressing her condolences to the victims’ families.
