In a row connected to an illegal lockdown-breaking children’s party held the night before, a pair of women were filmed fighting in the street.

In Hough Green, Widnes, the Liverpool Echo notes, video of the incident shows the pair fighting outside a house.

One of the women is lying on the floor on her back, attempting to kick a mother in a grey tracksuit, standing over her and holding her hand.

The woman in the tracksuit then repeatedly kicks the mom in the face while bending over her.

A man comes over and gets in between them, allowing the woman to get up on the ground as one walks away from the other.

The woman, back on her feet, shoves the man in the back.

Cheshire Police responded on Saturday, November 7, to the battle.

The dispute is believed to have been related to a party for children, which police said took place the previous night.

A Cheshire Police spokesman told the ECHO that, following rumors of a disturbance, officers visited the Hough Green area at about 9.40 am on Saturday.

“Officers attended and talked to two women, both from separate backgrounds, who were arguing in the driveway,” he said.

When engaging the pair, they announced that the previous night they had attended a party.

“Afterwards, both women were released with fixed penalty notices.”

On Sunday, when police detailed the incident on social media, the trouble between the pair first came to light.

“A statement released by the Widnes area Twitter account of the force said:” We issued fines yesterday to six individuals in Widnes for blatant violations of lockdown regulations.

“We don’t want everyone to quit enjoying themselves, but we all need to follow the rules and help minimize coronavirus spread.”

We will always interact, clarify and inspire people to obey the law, but disciplinary action is often required.

“In relation to a children’s party held involving individuals from separate households, two women were fined.

When talking to the women about a fight they’d had on the street, we were made aware of the gang.

“In response to a separate event, two other women and two men were fined.

“They had all gathered from different households in a flat.

The overwhelming majority of residents, luckily, adhere to the laws and we advise you to continue to do so.
