Ogbonna, Uche, 21 Other Biafra Activists, Wanted by the Police

According to a source at the Nigeria Police Force headquarters in Abuja, about 23 Biafran activists have been put on the watchlist for suspected involvement in the activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

Mr. Ogbonna Chijioke Christopher, the principal officer of the Indigenous People of Biafra in Japan, Uche Ejike, and others are suspected of being the masterminds of the ESN’s operations in the five states of the Southeast, according to our source, who requested anonymity.

The southeast governors have been accused by IPOB of collecting a list of its representatives to hand over to the federal government.

The list is being compiled with the help of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and some traditional rulers, according to the group’s spokesman,  on Saturday.

IPOB also accused the Igbo leaders of attempting to stifle its defense arm, the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

“The Nigerian government and security operatives suggested this wicked move in the hope of weakening IPOB and ESN while making every effort to root out Fulani terrorists from our land,” Powerful said in a statement.

“Our efforts to stop terrorists in the East have undeniably increased since the founding of ESN, but politicians and government officials, including local authorities in some communities in the South East, are sabotaging these efforts,” he said.

“The South-Eastern Governors, in cooperation with all of the Zone’s Traditional Rulers and the PGs of all of the Zone’s Communities, are compiling a list of alleged IPOB members in their communities to hand over to Nigerian security agencies for potential execution.”
