Police detains mom who beat up her 13-year-old daughter and threw her out naked into the street in Benue

A woman has been arrested by the Benue State Police Command for assaulting and maltreating her 13-year-old daughter in Gboko.

Note that the distressed girl was only found in her bra on Saturday, December 5, in the Gbanger area of Gboko South after the woman stripped her and threw her out of the building.

PDP youth leaders and an International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) representative immediately visited the community where they discovered that the perpetrator was actually the biological mother of the child.

The woman reported that she beat her daughter during questioning because she ” bed-wets and is also responsible for all the missing meat in the house.” Further investigation revealed that the woman is separated from the father of the child.

She was later arrested and held in Gboko at the A Division Police Station.
