In an accident that occurred while she was riding her new bike, a famous YouTuber with a passion for motorbikes died.
On the night of Friday, November 6, in Londrina, Brazil, Amanda Andrade Maturana, known online as ‘Amanda da 160’, died.
By expressing her love for two-wheel power, Amanda, 22, amassed 70,000 Youtube subscribers and 50,000 Instagram followers.
Initial data suggests that Amanda crashed while fleeing from police as she previously posted a video on Instagram at a motorcycle-racing event. Police were called to the illegal gathering hours later.
According to sources, when the police arrived, everyone at the meeting scattered and Amanda fled speeding with her 600 liter Yamaha XJ6 she purchased only a week earlier.
Soon she had lost control of the bike.
The police will investigate if, at the time of the incident, Amanda was over the drink-drive limit.
There was a follow-up on Avenida Waldemar Springer to a certain degree, when she ended up losing the car, a Military Police spokesman told UOL.
“Shortly afterward, the PM was summoned to attend a motorcyclist crash. It turned out that it was the same person who was running away.
Amanda died at the scene of the collision where she was discovered without a helmet, although during the crash it is believed that it came off.
She sustained injuries to her head, chest and cervix that proved fatal.
A funeral for the YouTuber who was buried in Londrina has already been held.
