A dad was moved to tears by an act of kindness by his son.
Jamie Nyland, a YouTuber with 2.3 million subscribers, opted to pay off his father’s home mortgage.
While recording a TikTok video, the 24-year-old from Gloucestershire broke the news to his dad, Richard.
He steps into Richard’s bedroom, gives him the house keys, and comments, “I just paid off your mortgage.”
“I’ve just rung the bank and paid off every single penny left on your mortgage. This whole house you now own.
“You’ve worked all your life and you can retire now.”
“Richard sobbed and gave his son a hug, adding: “You are the greatest son i will have in the world.
And he went on to give the keys back to his son in another emotional twist.
“It’s in the will,” he commented. The house is yours, what’s yours is mine…
“I love you so dearly. I’ve put you in my will, you paid off my mortgage.
“You gave me life in retirement, so I set you up for life.”
Since it was uploaded three days ago, the heartwarming video has received 357,000 likes.
