Rapper King Von shot dead aged 26 in Atalanta Shoot out

Having just dropped his debut album, Welcome to O’Block, the US rap artist was reportedly gunned down in a shooting on Friday morning in Atlanta.

During the early hours of November 6, gunfire was heard outside the Monaco Hookah Lounge.

Police have reported that shooting broke out between two groups in the car park.

DJ Akademiks and DJ On Da Beat So Issa Banga, his close friends, took the tragic news to the social media.

“A message posted on the Twitter page of DJ Akademiks read:” It is with great sorrow that I must announce that King Von has passed away.

I talked to his manager, who, thankfully, survived the shooting and is currently recovering in the hospital.

“Von’s manager confirmed, however, that Von was fired and did not make it. RIP King Von.”

We sat together on FaceTime for hours making music. Each bar had a meaning, and each song was a part of our soul.

Tributes flooded social media after the news of the death of the rapper.

An emotional fan wrote: “The King of Death really struck me hard.” This madman.

A further addition was added: RIP King Von, life is sick.

“The third said,” Bro. I’m hurt dawg. RIP King Von Kid.

“While posted by a fourth person:” RIP King Von. This is too much.

DJ Akademiks said that the manager of King Von was also in the attack, but the shot survived and remains in the hospital.

Atlanta Police Deputy Chief Timothy Peek addressed the incident: “Physical confrontation developed into an exchange of gunfire with those parties.”

The altercation was noticed by two police officers who worked at that particular club or lounge and included some of the people involved.

“There has also been an exchange of gunfire with the police.”

Off-duty police officers rushed to the scene to help out and were not injured in the shooting by the two policemen.
