YFN Lucci, an American rapper who is accused of murder in conjunction with a December shooting that left one man dead and another wounded, turned himself into the police.
On Wednesday night, January 13, police in Atlanta said Rayshawn Bennett, who goes to YFN Lucci, turned in and is now in the Fulton County Jail.
During the commission of a crime, Bennett faces allegations of felony murder, aggravated assault, involvement in violent street gang activity, and possession of a weapon.
He was wanted on numerous counts in connection with his suspected involvement in the shooting death of 28-year-old James Adams on December 10.
Two other suspects were arrested in Miami, Ra’von Boyd, 23, and Leroy Pitts, 17, on similar charges for their suspected involvement in the murder of Adams.
The victim was discovered on Dec. 10 with a gunshot wound to the face and died of his injuries later on. At a nearby fire station, a second gunshot victim arrived; the victim survived his injuries, and police concluded that the shootings were linked.
The shooting happened at a separate spot, according to the police report, and Adams’ body was dropped off nearby. At the scene, police found several shell casings.
Amongst others, YFN Lucci has worked with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Migos, and 2Chainz.
