Season 4 Of Attack on Titan Reveals The Whereabout Of The Last Nine Titans

Attack on

WARNING: Season 4, Episode 2 of Attack on Titan, now streaming on Crunchyroll, Funimation, Hulu and Amazon Prime, includes the following spoilers.

The final season of Attack on Titan just unveiled the name and location of the final member of the Nine Titans in its second, after placing the Jaw Titan’s newest form on absolute, devastating display for the first time in its first chapter.

And this is bad news for Paradis Island: it seems that the so-called “War Hammer Titan” is on the Marley side of the ongoing war.

The discovery comes toward the end of the show. The Eldian Warrior Unit of Marley—Zeke, the Beast Titan; Reiner, the Armed Titan; Galliard, the Jaw Titan and Pieck, the Cart Titan—assemble in Liberio to negotiate their next move on the Paradis Island conflict.

Despite claiming victory in the previous episode over the Mid-East Allied Forces at Fort Slava, it isn’t all positive press for their nation.

Talking of rapidly-advancing technology overtaking the Titans consumes worldwide media attention, leaving some Eldians anxious about their continued “Motherland.” usefulness.

Marley needs the strength of all the Nine Shifter Titans, as Zeke informs his team, but above all, they need the Founding Titan, which is in the hands of Paradis Island.

They need to go back to Paradis Island to get the most powerful Titan of them all, to finish what Zeke, Reiner, Bertolt, and Annie began nine years ago.

But it isn’t all that. The holder of the Beast Titan agrees that the Tybur family, who are the keepers of the War Hammer Titan, should enlist their aid.

The War Hammer is the final member of the legendary Nine to be introduced following the steady introductions of the Colossal, Armored, Assault, Girl, Jaw, Beast, and Cart Titans in the anime.

Of course, the Nine are special among Titans for their particular powersets, with the group’s strongest being the Founding Titan.

They are also the only Titans who can move between the form of human and Titan — hence the name.

Nothing else in the episode is revealed about this enigmatic Shifter, other than the wealth and isolated existence of the Tybur household. It seems like they have purposely kept themselves out of Marley’s battles, suggesting a certain degree of neutrality—or selfishness.

Despite this past, in the face of a doubtful public, Zeke is optimistic that he can convince the revered family to drum up support for the Marley war effort.

As for the Shifter itself, fans who have seen Attack on Titan’s Season 4 trailers will make an educated guess that the War Hammer Titan is indeed the unidentified white-masked beast with a spear. But very little of its powers and presence in the show is revealed by the video.

It is incredibly crucial that Marley has access to the War Hammer Titan, and that the identity, location, and capabilities of the being are totally unknown to the “island devils.” If they can successfully conceal the treasured possession of the Tyburn, the strength of the Nine would be weighed in favor of Marley.

Paradis, however still holds the trump card; plus, he is both the greatest and most insecure commodity his people have right now with Eren Jaeger hoarding Shifter types like nobody’s business.
