Suspected Fulani herdsmen allegedly killed about seven people on Thursday night in Gora Gan, Zangon-Kataf Kaduna State Local Government Area.
Suspected Fulani herdsmen attacked the same village earlier this year, resulting in the loss of lives and the destruction of houses and other valuables.
According to a credible source on Thursday, five of the seven people killed by alleged Fulani herdsmen were from the same family.
The source added that an elderly woman was critically wounded and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
“He added, “As I speak to you, we’re going to go round this morning to know exactly the ones killed and wounded.
“The attackers have also destroyed so many houses and we will go around to determine the number of houses destroyed and the degree of destruction.”
The source clarified that the attackers came in large numbers and about 8pm raided the village.
“We are pleased that security personnel also arrived last night to rescue the situation and are still around to ensure the protection of lives and property as I speak to you,” he added.
