His death comes five years after Bobby Brown lost his 22-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, in 2015. Kristina, who was Brown and Whitney Houston’s only child, was found in a bathtub face-down and unresponsive and had been in a coma for six months before her death.

Just before the third anniversary of her mother’s death, she was discovered in the bathtub. In a Beverly Hills, California, hotel on Feb. 11, 2012, Houston, a seven-time Grammy winner, was found submerged in a bathtub.

An autopsy revealed that her body contained morphine, cocaine, alcohol, and prescription drugs, but the medical examiner was unable to determine whether she had killed herself, whether someone else had killed her, or whether her death was accidental.
