The 2020 smash hit from Innersloth, Among Us is heading to the Nintendo Switch today.
The news was revealed during a special Nintendo Direct-focused indie game. It will feature crossplay in the game.
An online social deduction game is Among Us, one in which players have to work together to complete tasks around the ship and find out who the impostors of the crew are. Imposters, meanwhile, try to destroy as many other players as they can silently.
Though the game first released in 2018, thanks to a newly discovered popularity on Twitch, played by streamers and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, it has become a phenomenon.
In fact, Among Us has become so popular that Innersloth canceled the sequel of the game to concentrate on improving the original.
During the Game Awards this year the game picked up the award for best multiplayer title of the year. Next year a new airship map is planned.
