The president of the Rome-based organization is never afraid to give an opinion and shared his dissatisfaction with the coronavirus testing process.

A surreal and obscene rant on the global coronavirus pandemic has been delivered by Lazio’s outspoken President Claudio Lotito, with the 63-year-old eager to point out that “bacteria do not mean infectious.”

Nations around the world continue to put in place protocols that are designed to restrict the spread of Covid-19.

With daily rounds of testing held after competitive play returned on the back of several months of lockdown, football has become caught up in the process.

Lazio is among those who have seen the elimination of senior players from their plans as they take on periods of self-isolation.

However, controversy and debate were ignited in Roma as Ciro Immobile, Lucas Leiva and Thomas Strakosha were ruled out of two Champions League games by negative checks, but after being cleared as negative, figured in Serie A outings.

With the Lazio leader telling La Repubblica, Lotito aimed at the structures in place and the misunderstanding being caused: “I told you, it’s like a magic trick, what’s positive?”

Positive means infectious, correct? In the vaginas of all women in the world, there are bacteria, which does not mean they are pathogens. They just become pathogens and degenerate in some situations.

In the testing process, Lotito also expressed his dissatisfaction and can’t understand why Immobile is not allowed to face Juventus on Sunday.

“He added:” Igli Tare, our director, is also hopeful, but no one can tell us right now whether anyone is contagious or not.

“In the analysis of performance, there is this disparity. Immobile was tested by our medical staff; his lung capacity tests were higher than before. We’ve got the swab, he’s pessimistic, and so is his dad, so why can’t he play on Sunday against Juventus?

I asked the FIGC to introduce a single structure that can perform all the tests and have all the same parameters. I suggested Federlab, which is already doing them for Series C. We need a third party that can put an end to this confusion.

“For our tests, we went to Avellino because the systems in Rome were already crowded and I didn’t want players to seemingly get preferential treatment and keep others in line.”
