As a possible place to carry out the Covid-19 vaccine, Tottenham has offered their £ 1bn stadium.

For the NHS to administer injections, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is set to be open to the NHS.

Spurs became the first team in the Premier League to deliver their stadium with the ground used during the first lockdown back in spring as an outpatient unit for North Middlesex Hospital.

As a venue for vaccines, Wycombe also provided the use of the function rooms at their Adams Park stadium.

By mid-February, the government plans to vaccinate all people over 70, the most clinically disadvantaged and frontline health and care staff.

The use of Wembley as a possible vaccination center was also voluntarily supported by the FA.

With matches continuing throughout the present lockdown, footballers are not set to be targets for the vaccine.

That’s despite the Premier League’s record number of 40 positive studies, with no intention of attempting to buy vaccinations privately.

Next week, mass vaccination hubs at seven sites across England will launch operations.

Venues such as Manchester’s Etihad Tennis Centre, Surrey’s Epsom Racecourse and the Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol City will be turned into regional centres.

It is also assumed that Liverpool is willing to open Anfield to the NHS, though Villa Park is also considered a venue.

Despite the increase in incidents, there are now two licensed vaccinations being rolled out with Premier League fixtures continuing.

In recent weeks, following outbreaks at Manchester City and Fulham, a number of fixtures have been postponed, although the Premier League has not addressed the prospect of a seasonal circuit break.
