US Election: Fox News instructs it’s anchors not to call Biden ‘President-elect’

Fox News is instructing its anchors as the network calls the race not to name Joe Biden the “President-elect.”

In two memos obtained by CNN, it was gathered that the management of the network told its anchors to “stay away” from using the description, and instead say something such as Biden has “enough electoral votes to win the presidency”.

The memos stressed that attempts by Trump’s legal teams to appeal the findings should be reported by the network. One of the added memos;

“We will report to both sides before more clarification is available.”

This comes after Trump and his allies called Fox News to prepare to win Arizona for Biden. However, it was noted that the day after the 2016 election, the network called Trump the “President-elect”.
