US rapper, YFN Lucci declared wanted on numerous charges including Murder

YFN Lucci, the American rapper, was declared wanted by the Atlanta Police Department for his alleged involvement in last month’s shooting in the southwestern region of Atlanta.

According to an Atlanta police press release, Lucci, 29, real name Rayshawn Bennett, is wanted on charges of murder, aggravated assault, engaging in violent street gang activity, and firearms charges.

Two other suspects, Ra’von Boyd, 23, and Leroy Pitts, 17, were arrested for their suspected involvement in the murder of 28-year-old James Adams in Miami on similar charges.

Adams was identified on Dec. 10 with a gunshot wound to the face and died of his injuries later. At a nearby fire station, a second gunshot victim arrived; the victim survived his injuries, and police concluded that the shootings were linked.

The shooting happened at a separate spot, according to the police report, and Adams’ body was dropped off nearby. At the scene, police found several shell casings.

For information leading to Bennett’s capture, a $5,000 reward has been offered.

Amongst others, YFN Lucci has worked with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Migos, and 2Chainz.

In 2014, he released his debut mixtape, “Wish Me Well,” and scored a hit with his “Long Live Nut” EP three years later, which peaked at No. 27 on the Billboard 200. He hit No. 14 on his 2018 debut album, “Ray Ray From Summerhill.”
