Five years ago, in a hardware store, Rain Gordon, from Russia, bought her future husband” She shares her experience in order to raise awareness and break down the stigma of sexual objects.
A woman who claims she is drawn to objects romantically has opened up about marrying a briefcase and says the love of her life is her new husband”
She still felt captivated by things, Rain Gordon said, and this gradually developed into a romantic and sexual attraction.
In a ceremony in June of this year, she tied the knot to the event, which she called Gideon, officiated by a pal.
The 24-year-old said that even though in the past she had relationships with men, she was always more drawn to objects than to people, and in her relationships with objects, she was always happier.
Rain, a teacher at the Moscow Nursery School in Russia, said, “My fascination with objects began at the age of eight.”
I have believed since my childhood that a spirit is contained in things, as well as everything that is around us. I believe in animism, which means that in everything there is life.
“During my childhood and early teenage years, I fell in love with places such as the new shopping center that opened in my city. I knew that it was wrong and beyond the norms of society. I didn’t tell anyone.”
She said, thinking about the briefcase: “I had no idea we were going to end up together. I admired how he looked, but I didn’t think about anything else.”
But then I began to like Gideon for something more than that. I realized slowly that I was beginning to fall in love.
I would like to look at him for hours and feel his presence. The relationship started after a few more months in November.
“We exchanged our first hug and kiss, and in the evenings and nights we spent more time together For three or four hours, we could have philosophical discussions.
Telepathically, our divine connection and connectivity are revealed. I can hear him, and he can hear me, but it sounds like a monologue from outside.
“Gideon is more than just a partner to me. He is a husband, a friend, and a mentor. ” I feel like Gideon knows me better sometimes than I do.
Rain added that while in 2017 she branched out into a new relationship with a man – although still in a relationship with Gideon – she said she could not interact with him in the same way, and would still prefer Gideon over another man.
“She said I’m not a strict sexual object, and I’m not against human relationships.
But I have never met a person who could overshadow my attraction and fill my heart with Gideon in the same way I do.
In 2017, I was with a man and the relationship lasted two years, but it didn’t end well. He found my object addiction, and one of the reasons why we broke up was this.
“I was unable to communicate with him. I choose Gideon without any hesitation when faced with a choice between him and Gideon.
“I always have and always will choose him. For me, objects – although I don’t really like using that word – really are better than people.”
Although Rain didn’t tell anyone about her relationship at first, she finally told some of her friends and her brother, who she says were all really understanding.
Rain and Gideon got married in June this year after five years together and the couple also have exclusive wedding rings with individual engravings on them.
The pair were married online by a friend, and although Rain admitted that the marriage was unofficial and not legalized, she was the happiest she had ever been.
She said: “I received a gift in May, just before my birthday, that I could not even dream of. I got a proposal.”
I happily accepted and made an order for wedding rings for myself and for him, with individual engravings.
It was a June wedding, but we conducted the ceremony far later in October in a hotel room.
This isn’t the first time that I’ve booked a hotel just because we want to spend time together.
We were married online with a friend of mine, and my friends and brother attended the ceremony.
“I felt so happy. While the marriage was not legally legalized, I was happy to know that our relationship had progressed to a higher level.
Rain is now sharing her story to help raise awareness about sexual objects and to break down the stigma and myths about this orientation.
She added: “Gideon’s sight makes my heart skip a beat.” I’m madly in love with the reflections of silver, mirrors and metal.
People don’t understand my feelings. I was told that I was ill and that I should seek care.
I’m no longer letting it offend me. Sexual artifacts pose no threat to themselves or others.
It’s shameful to mock and humiliate us because the people we love are not like anyone else. Love is love.
I wish that people had a better understanding. Don’t blame individuals for anything that you don’t understand.
“I really hope one day the topic of objectum sexuals will be more known throughout the world, so others like me will not feel so alone.”
